Sumac- Rhus typhina and Rhus glabra

Sumac is a common late summer, early fall wild edible high in vitamin C that makes a wonderful drink or jelly.

An extremely invasive shrub that produces huge volumes of fruit in the fall. Makes a decent jelly that tastes like sweet tarts.

Hericiums are wonderful mushrooms that, once cooked, have a flavor and texture similar to crab meat, and can be used as a vegan substitute for it.

Ganoderma mushrooms commonly called Reishi.
